  • Open for Year 8 upwards
  • Open to parents, teachers – those that influence decision-making
  • Issues – timing
  • First hand experience

To blog or not to blog….

Evaluation means finding out how well something is working. When you do an evaluation you will be able to find out what are the good things about BSYP. What are the things that are not working as well and also you could find out what you and the rest of the group have learnt from being involved with BSYP. Bright Space Youth Panel have decided to set up their own blog to document their findings and share their ideas and project ideas.

  • We put all the events on ourselves
  • Skills – from loads of different young people

  • I may be able to have my say more so I will become more confident
  • Got to socialise with other people

Weaknesses –

  • Funding
  • Supportive teachers
  • Free food
  • Make new friends
  • Going new places
  • Learning skills
